Kath Preston
Since achieving my Diploma in Interior Design at The Design and Art College, Christchurch in 2006 I have completed numerous residential and commercial interior design projects.
Design has always been in my blood, I have applied this expertise to many projects including creating and organising events, staging houses for sale, furnishing and styling Airbnb’s, creating theatrical costumes and styling many memorable parties.
To challenge my design skills even further, I entered the 2010 World of Wearable Art Awards (WOW) winning runner-up in the Creative Excellence category for “Behind Closed Doors” https://www.worldofwearableart.com/transform19/.
I believe when designing a space it is important to understand how the space will be used by the people who are living there and it must also be a reflection of them. Clever design does not have to cost a lot of money.

Style and design are my passion. I have a natural ability to create beautiful spaces.
Over the past 10 years I have been developing and building my design career gaining significant experience in home staging, floristry and spacial design.
With extensive professional knowledge in carpet, tiling and hard flooring products I know how to apply them to each individual project to achieve beautiful and functional spaces.
What I love most is how I get excited about new projects, meeting new people and together with them, turning their vision into reality!
